The Magic House

This is a "How are my grandbabies?" blog entry. Lots of pictures but not much writing....

If you are reading this blog, please do comment if it's not too much trouble. It's nice to know who's reading. Plus, the kids would love to know who saw them sliding or fishing or whatever they are doing.


Sunday we all had the privilege of going to The Magic House here in STL. We had a great time. It's a place I struggle taking all three of the kid without another adult present. It's great fun, but there are three levels and it's difficult (impossible) to keep up with all of them.

This is one of our favorite places to go and when friends and family come see us this is one place we're sure to visit! Since we went on a weekend we saw more than usual. During the week they don't have the art are or the Lewis and Clark area open.


Here they are playing Lewis and Clark. Only they didn't know that's what they were playing. They don't even really understand "discovering" new land. Just Google it. In fact this morning Bobby was gargling apple juice and said, "Smell my breath, I just googled it. Doesn't it smell nice?"


Here's the perfect video to demonstrate why I don't usually go to The Magic House alone. Here one second-- gone another.





All three of the kids had a great time fishing with the poles and taking their fish upstream to let them back into the water. Here's Ian making his catch. (As you can tell Joseph was the photographer. He's only in one picture- thanks to many mirrors!)



Of course, it's fun for us too! :-) The maze of mirrors was irresistible!

Oh yes. Bring your Tylenol! This place is noisy.



The three story INSIDE slide was a great way to end our play!



We then skipped supper at home and went to our favorite place in STL--. The St. Louis Bread Company. It was almost like a date since the kids were at one table and we were "alone" at another.
