I excavated a dino today. What'd you do?

Hi Daddy,

Today we went to the St. Louis Zoo. We went to the DinoROARus exhibit and saw roaring dinos that actually moved and one that even spit on Bobby. Gini Lu thought they were too loud even though they were difficult to hear.

At the end of the DinoROARus exhibit we got to excavate dinosaurs found in Minnesota and brought here for us to rediscover! It's good practice for real life.

Mom took lots of pictures. Too many, probably, but she loves us and wanted to share our day with you. We miss you. Here's our day in pictures. Be sure to check Ian out in the "Triceratops whatever" video.

Gini Lu said over and over again, "I want to go ride the elephant!" She even cried because there wasn't one to ride. Mom kept telling Gini Lu that she can't ride an elephant at the St. Louis Zoo- only in Thailand. Is that true?

I didn't want mom to get a good picture of me. So I hammed it up. How'd I do?



We had a great time and the weather was a beautiful 72. It rained until we got to the zoo then started raining again as we left. Perfect timing!

Gini Lu was so tired and Mom was too tired to carry her, so we rode the train back to our entrance. We love the train! And, we really want to go to the Science Center with you soon. We haven't been in a million years!
