Bobby is 5... well almost.

Saturday was Bobby's birthday party with friends. His actual birthday is on March 17th. Hence the green shirts. He invited two kids to come with him to the St. Louis Science Center. We went to the IMAX and saw The Alps then we went to the Discovery Room and let the kids explore and play. The Alps was a great film, but maybe a bit too mature for 5 year olds.

Afterwards, we took them to McDonald's. Since it was in the 20's it was nice to let them get more of that energy out of their system. Bobby was so excited to open presents. He loves to receives gifts and is so grateful for them. He doesn't need to be prompted to say, "Thank you." He's sincerely thankful for presents.

He loved the Lego ambulance and built it independently (almost) that night. He got a Transformer and likes to change it from one thing to another. Neither of his parents can figure it out! We're not as smart as our 5 year old! He also got a gear book that teaches about different types of gears. Great fun!

We got him Heely's. Or- as he says Wheely's (but the 'h' is silent). He's been asking for these daily (at least) so we surprised him with them early. He's getting pretty good. Watch out! He'll be that kid at the mall rolling over your toes before you know it!
