Batteries and Swimsuits

This has been a nice week for us- other than Ian's flu. Joseph has been working a fair amount which leaves more time for creativity at home... I find myself asking, "Is creativity a good or a bad thing?"

Here's how we define creativity in our house.

Disassemble broken Christmas toys, fix, and creatively reassembling after repair. He just asked if we have a soldering iron... He's taping the wires to a battery (below). He was able to make it go. The switch on the toy had broken, but the motor was just fine.


Ian...
Well, he's still recovering from flu. But we made play dough yesterday and he's coloring his blue.



For the record, I think creativity is a good thing so long as it's not smashed into the carpet!
